Lady Jane Stained Glass Doll House
Barbara and Bernie Bischoff
Welcome to the Lady Jane Dollhouse, a thirteen-room stained glass dollhouse, which has a five feet by seven feet footprint. Linda Young of Parrish Florida created this magnificent dollhouse for Barbara and Bernie Bischoff who were living in Chicago Illinois.
Martin Massman Steuben Art Glass Collection
Martin Massman was a Broadway and television producer who had a passion for Steuben art glass. He started with his first piece, a Koala Bear and the collection grew to 213 pieces, the second largest collection of Steuben in the world.
Where can you see a marble made between 1-4 AD, a glass doll house that has 13 rooms and stands 5 feet tall and 7 feet wide, or 123 pieces of Steuben art glass, or an insulation tile that flew in space on the Shuttle Columbia. Only one place, the Museum of American Glass in West Virginia.
MAGWV will be highlighting examples of unique and interesting parts of our collection as time goes on. This will be a dynamic section so check back regularly for updates.
National Marble Museum
When the National Marble Museum in California closed it transferred its collection to MAGWV. We have highlighted a few of the items in the collection and will be exploring the companies and the artists more fully as time goes on. Keep checking back.
