Indiana Glass Company Wall Vase

Jan 20, 2025 | Museum Monday Treasures

Today’s Museum Monday treasure from the Museum of American Glass in WV is a factory sample wall vase from the Indiana Glass Company. It was part of a group of Indiana Glass Company factory samples acquired by the Fenton Art Glass Company when they purchased the Indiana moulds after that factory closed, and was then acquired in turn by MAG when Fenton went out of business. It is 5 7/8” high, 4 5/8” wide at the top, and 2 3/8” wide at the bottom. Does anyone recognize this vase? Is it from an original Indiana mould? It looks like something that might have been made for Tiara – is it from another company’s mould? Let us know if you have any information to share.
